We can provide advice for you in connection with appointing someone you trust to deal with your financial affairs or personal welfare decisions. Many of us will reach old age but with potential restrictions in our physical and mental capacity.
It is therefore vitally important to have a "back stop" in place which we can prepare to enable someone you trust to implement certain financial decisions in your best interests. Similarly, in relation to health and welfare, it is generally easier to provide immediate decision making for you by your attorney if you are unable to make decisions for whatever reason.
Enduring Powers of Attorney were superseded by Lasting Powers of Attorney in October 2007, however it may still be necessary to register an old Enduring Power of Attorney and we can help you with this process.
We can help you manage your affairs when you become unable to cope. We can also give much needed assistance to attorneys who are in the process of managing someone else’s affairs. We can arrange visits to your home, hospital and care home.
Our services are keenly costed, and they will remove the responsibility from a family member or friend. We are also alert to "safeguarding" measures.
